Post-qualifying penalties

Valsecchi and Carroll penalised

Following today’s qualifying session at Hungaroring, Davide Valsecchi was handed a three grid position penalty for tomorrow’s Feature Race after the stewards decided that he impeded Romain Grosjean during the final stages of the session. The Caterham Team AirAsia driver had already been handed a ten grid position penalty last week following Nurburgring Sprint Race. He will thus start from last tomorrow.

Also penalised, Adam Carroll. The Super Nova driver who returned to the GP2 field last week at Nurburgring was also found guilty of impeding Stefano Coletti during the session. He was thus handed a three grid position penalty and will start from P18 tomorrow.
